The Lowcountry Center for Veterans Research is making tremendous strides in medical research, health services research, and clinical trials. The South Carolina Institute for Brain Health (SCIBH) is a clinical research initiative established by the Lowcountry Center for Veterans Research.  This robust research program will allow both veterans and non-veteran patients access to the newest clinical trials available for Alzheimer's disease and treatment-resistant depression, while providing the community with essential resources, free health screenings, and educational opportunities.  Our team is comprised of highly experienced clinical researchers from the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System including Dr. Jacobo Mintzer (SCIBH Director) and Dr. Olga Brawman-Mintzer (SCIBH Co-Director).
