Lowcountry Center for Veterans Research's (LCVR) mission is to advance discovery and innovation through research initiatives dedicated to improving the overall health and well-being of veterans - particularly those living in the lowcountry (principally through the Ralph H Johnson VA Medical Center.)

The research program of LCVR is highly diverse and dedicated to finding new, innovative, and more cost-efficient methods of providing healthcare to our nation's Veterans.

This program hosts investigations in medical research, health services research, and clinical trials research. Our researchers are nationally and internationally recognized physicians and scientists devoted to developing a better understanding of the causes of disease and how disease can be treated.
